Senior Architect

We are seeking a talented Senior Architect with over 15 years’ experience to join our thriving Manchester office to support our highly capable teams. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a design led practice.

This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week. We offer the opportunity of hybrid working once you have settled into the role.
 
Role and Responsibilities

* Leading design projects. Proven track record in the housing, mixed-use, and regeneration sectors is advantageous.
* Presenting ideas clearly and effectively
* Fostering strong relationships with clients and managing client expectations
* Delivering high-quality design across all work stages while leading project teams
* Managing project fees, contracts, and resource allocation
* Overseeing the use of BIM in projects, ensuring best practices are followed
* Support the business development team in securing new work through bids and networking
* Embody the ethos and culture of our practice in all engagements

Skills and Qualifications

* ARB registered architect
* Minimum 15 years’ experience post Part 3 in a design led architectural practice
* Experience across 0 – 7 RIBA work stages
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policies, and sustainable design principles.
* Exceptional design, interpersonal and organisational skills, with an eye for sustainable innovation and quality.
* Experience in business development, securing new work and networking
* Experience in outward facing roles, client relationships and managing skills
* Experience in managing, supporting and mentoring teams

Salary: Negotiable
Working Hours: 9.00 – 17.30 Monday to Friday
Work pattern: Hybrid working opportunity once settled into the role
