Rotherhithe Primary School shortlisted for two Education Estates Awards

Rotherhithe Primary school has been shortlisted for Client of the Year 2024 and Schools Project of the Year 2024 at the Education Estates Awards.
Part of an ambitious school rebuilding programme by the London Borough of Southwark, Rotherhithe Primary School replaced the two form-entry school with a three-form entry primary on the same urban site.
Set in an unusually generous playground, we worked with the council and the school staff to create a school set within its own landscape that would be a safe, vibrant and stimulating environment for the children to learn and play in.
Open now for just over a year, the children and staff have well and truly bedded as much as the extensive landscaping and planting.
The winners will be announced in October.
