Lunch is ready in the London studio

Help us solve the question.. what are you having for lunch?

Are you a passionate cook looking for your next opportunity? Are you experienced in preparing healthy and nutritious meals with a hands on approach to all areas of the kitchen? If yes, then our exciting new role based in our London Studio may be of interest!

You will be responsible for planning, budgeting and executing a balanced weekly lunch menu for all our Studio members, approx. 40-60 meals. We are passionate about the environment and sustainability, so all of our dishes are based on a completely vegetarian menu so experience and interest in cooking vegetarian-focused meals would be a big plus!

Other core responsibilities will include -

* Planning and ordering necessary lunch menu ingredients a day in advance for the following day or by 11am
* Preparing the kitchen prior to 1pm lunch service
* Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
* Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards
* Endeavor to resource ingredients and produce from local/ethical suppliers in keeping with our environmental and sustainable ambitions
* Following lunch service, complete a full studio kitchen clean down

About you - key requirements

* You will have experience working as a professional cook/chef
* Excellent record of kitchen and stock management and punctuality
* A team player who works well with others
* You will be certified RSPH Award in Food Hygiene Awareness (*minimum Level 1)

Reporting to:  Studio Manager

 
Hours:   09:00 – 13:30 Monday-Thursday (18 hours per week)
