We have a rare opportunity for a full time Accounts Assistant to join our Bath Studio on a 6-month fixed term contract. There may also be the potential for this to be extended or made permanent.

You will sit within our Finance Department who are a friendly, approachable, and close-knit team.

Your role, day to day, will report into our Finance Manager alongside working closely with the rest of the team. You will support in:

* Managing the Purchase Ledger
* Obtaining approval of purchase invoices from budget holders
* Updating credit card and expenses
* Reconciling petty cash
* Assisting in preparing twice monthly supplier runs
* Dealing with general purchase ledger enquiries

There will also be exposure to areas of sales ledger, including the updating of sales invoices and system reconciliations.
 
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience within accounting and work within in a collaborative and supportive team.
 
As this is a data entry level role, we are not looking for heaps of experience but someone who is comfortable with numbers, has great attention to detail, self-motivated, enthusiastic and an excellent team player. Previous accounting knowledge and experience of Sage 200 would be advantageous but not essential.

Salary up to £22,000 per annum dependent on experience plus excellent benefits (and free lunch!)

The role will initially be based in our Bath Studio 5 days a week while you are going through training however, there will be the opportunity to work 2 days a week at home once training has been completed and you are comfortable in the role.
