As an architect, Kim has worked internationally on a number of projects in Asia and Caribbean islands including working as a Local Strategic Advisor to the UN-Habitat for Global Future Cities Programme. Her work with UN-Habitat also included development of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Assessment Tool in 2020. She has experience of masterplan and strategic implementation of hospital campuses and was part of The Housing Recovery Project (HRP) launched by the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica in collaboration with the World Bank, which aims to build resilience in the housing sector. Kim has been a guest critic at the Yangon Technological University in Myanmar and participated in design workshops with Meji University in Tokyo. She was a volunteer designer for TEDxBath and is part of the FCBStudios team for Forest of Imagination 2023.
