David is an Associate and Architect based in our Bath studio.

He works in collaboration with place and client to design joyful, adaptable buildings that have a positive impact on their communities. He has led a range of cultural, residential, school and higher education projects over the past 12 years. Major projects include strategic masterplans for Alexandra Palace, London and for the Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai. Medium scale mixed use residential developments in Ancoats Manchester, University of Portsmouth Victoria Park Building and the 2023 Stirling Prize shortlisted University of Warwick Faculty of Arts building.

David is project architect for Eden Project Dundee which will transform a former city centre Gasworks into a beacon of Regenerative Design and reconnection with the natural world.

David sees each project an opportunity to help prototype the future, believing that optimism is essential if we are to achieve the level of creativity and innovation urgently called for by the challenges of biodiversity loss and climate change.
