Andy Theobald

Andy has played a pivotal role in delivering award-winning architectural projects across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on higher education.

His leadership has contributed to ten national RIBA Award-winning designs, including two projects shortlisted for the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize: Manchester School of Art and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Warwick, both creating landmark academic buildings that inspire learning and collaboration. His expertise in Arts Education architecture also includes work at Plymouth College of Art.

Andy recently led the winning team for the Victoria Park Building at the University of Portsmouth, which integrates multiple faculties into a vibrant academic hub. He is currently leading the design for The Eden Project Dundee, a regenerative development embracing the circular economy and repurposing industrial structures.

Beyond individual buildings, Andy’s masterplanning work has transformed campuses to enhance academic and social life.

In his spare time, he is a dedicated potter, with a passion for Raku.
