Five Decades of Impact

To coincide with Peter Clegg receiving an OBE for 'services to architecture' we have been looking back at the practice's commitment and approach to environmental design over the last fifty years.

Feilden Clegg Design was set up with the notion that architects have the ability to change both the lives of people and our impact on the planet. And that has remained the core focus of our work, our research and our collaborations.

The below animated timeline maps some of the most significant projects that have pushed boundaries in environmental design, alongside published books, involvement in key organisations or movements and markers of significant legislation, policy changes and global agreements.

We continue to move forward with those core principles driving our work, our practice and our culture, conscious that now, more than ever, good design can shape the world around us and the people who call it home.
