Plymouth School of Art makes shortlist in AJ100 Building of the Year

We are thrilled to announce that Plymouth School of Art has been shortlisted for AJ100 Building of the Year 2016.

The Red House, as it is affectionately known, is an all-through school located on an inner city brownfield site that allows 4-16 year olds to connect with a local artistic tradition going back to 1845. Industrial in character and varying in height, plan, light and scale, the school’s design stimulates and charges the teaching environment. It is a place for making things - making ideas, making technology and making art.

The results will be announced at an awards ceremony on the 8th June 2016 at The Tower of London.
