FCBStudios design proposals for the first phase of the Imperial College Healthcare redevelopment of St Mary’s Hospital have now been revealed.
The new state-of-the-art building will bring together the majority of outpatient services and supporting diagnostics in a modern and flexible way.
The design is driven by the requirements to support better, integrated care, improve patient experience and replace ageing buildings which have become expensive to maintain and run. The significantly improved clinical building will be more efficient and provide flexibility for future changes in service provision. The proposed eight-storey building will serve around half a million patients a year.
A phase 1 exhibition is being held at St John’s Church, Hyde Park Crescent on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 September, from 14.00 until 20.00, and on Saturday 10 September, from 10.00 until 16.00. Please click here for further information.
