FCBStudios team to build ‘Pea Soup House' installation at RIBA HQ

A team from FCBStudios have been selected to build an installation outside the RIBA Headquarters during London Festival of Architecture 2016.

The team developed a concept called ‘Pea Soup House’ for an entry into the RIBA ‘Constructing Communities’ open call, and are now one of three entries awarded £5,000 to realise the structures on a true scale.

By engaging the local community through food, Pea Soup House raises public awareness of London’s air quality through architecture, education and event. Using low cost, carbon neutral materials to create a high impact, transportable installation it will raise awareness of air pollution and bring together the community through food.

On 2ndJune an exhibition of the 18 short-listed projects will take place at Peckham Levels. Please click here for further information on associated events.
