The ambitious £250m redevelopment of Ulster University’s Belfast campus has been described as a ‘transformational project’ for Belfast City centre.
Thousands of students and staff will occupy the new buildings when fully completed in 2019. The campus has been designed to provide a modern, innovative and inspiring environment for teaching, learning and research. The first phase of the development, which was designed to attain BREEAM Excellent rating, opened in 2015.
This is an opportunity to see the new campus with architects Sam Tyler, Paul Warwick, Theo Dales and Cormac Maguire of FCBStudios. Learn about the design approach and the on-going work to deliver the largest construction project currently underway in Belfast.
Organised as part of Open House Belfast Architecture & Engineering Festival which takes place from the 21 – 23 October 2016.
