London's schools: How do we build enough places?

With a rapidly increasing population, London is facing a crisis around the provision of school places. London Councils’ recent report suggested the capital is set to have a secondary place shortfall of 35,000 school places by 2020. Pre-election figures compiled by Labour suggested that more than 60,000 London children could miss out on a primary school place in three years’ time simply because of a lack of provision.

This NLA half-day conference will look at innovation across London’s schools and examine how primary and secondary schools are working to provide much needed additional places across the capital.

Including guest speaker Joe Jack Williams, Researcher from FCBStudios.
