FCBStudio’s film 'The Red House' will be featured as part of the Architecture and Design Film Festival (ADFF) Short Film Walk. The film looks through the eyes of children and staff to capture both the philosophy and the everyday life of the Plymouth School of Creative Arts, a Royal Institute of British Architecture award-winning building.
The school, located on an inner-city site and sponsored by the local Plymouth College of Art, is a place to develop the richness and individuality of human creativity, allowing 4-16 year olds to connect with a local artistic tradition going back to 1845. Through making, performing and discovering, the school pursues its core intention of ‘Creating Individuals and Making Futures’.
The Short Films Walk is a one night event in New York’s Soho Design District on October 11, 5-9 pm, which leads up to the Architecture & Design Film Festival, which this year runs Nov 1 - 5 at Cinepolis Cinema in Chelsea, New York.
