Future Hope for BurundiFuture Hope for Burundi
Dieudonné Nahimana spoke about New Generation’s plans to develop a new home for the charity in Bujumbura to support their work with street children.
New Generation was founded in 1998 by Dieudonné as a personal response to living on the street during the civil war in Burundi. New Generation believes that children and young people are the future and hope of Burundi and focuses on preparing them to become future leaders and catalysts for positive change.
The Richard Feilden Foundation has partnered with Street Action and New Generation to deliver this project, with FCBStudios and Max Fordham providing the charities with professional expertise in sustainable development, community consultation and design of the houses.
