L3 IT Apprentice, Architectural Software Engineer, BATH

We are looking for an apprentice to work alongside our Architectural Software Engineer (who is based in London).

You will initially spend time learning the uses and structure of our existing bespoke software systems listed below. You will be assisted in this task by the Architectural Software Engineer and the IT support team. As you start to understand the software, you will begin the process of writing user manuals and also begin answering support questions by email, phone and in-person.

You will have regular meetings with the Architectural Software Engineer where you will be able to ask questions concerning the software to increase your understanding. As your knowledge increases, you will also be able to make suggestions for improvements and where appropriate make the changes with the help of the Architectural Software engineer.

Head of Finance

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and visionary Head of Finance to join and lead our finance team in our Head Office in Bath.

Reporting directly to our Managing Partners you will contribute to the business and financial strategy, improve our operating and financial processes and reporting, conduct reviews of financial information, identify issues and opportunities relating to emerging industry trends and assume some 'Company Secretary' responsibilities.

You will hold a professional accountancy qualification, have an open and communicative management style and have the desire to contribute to the development of a dynamic business.

We expect this to be a full-time position however part-time working may be considered depending on experience.

Events and Exhibitions Producer/Coordinator, London

Working closely with Partners and the Communications team, you will generate ideas for engaging events and exhibitions which help celebrate the role of design in the city, in our lives, in our communities.

In addition to the key role of Events and Exhibitions Producer/Coordinator you will be required to work with the core Communications team (mostly based in our Bath office) to develop targeted stories and campaigns to generate interest in our key London projects. This might involve classic press and web promotions as well as commissioning film, animation or events.

The successful candidate will have a strong aesthetic sense, an understanding of language and how to communicate with different audiences and will be confident in generating and delivering concepts in tandem with others.

Software Engineer, Bath

An opportunity has arisen in our Bath Studio to join the Information Technology Team taking responsibility for the development, maintenance and support of existing and new software systems: developing user interfaces and backend services for both internal systems and publicly accessible web sites and applications. The existing set of software systems is diverse and interesting with good opportunities for creative development. Working with Architects and support staff to make information available in productive formats alongside integrating applications and data. There are also exciting opportunities to work with Architects assisting with research and parameter based design.

Excellent verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail are essential; flexibility and a passion for productivity and organisation are important characteristics for the role.

An interest or previous experience in Architecture is an advantage but not essential.
