FCBStudios’ work goes beyond ‘architecture’. Our narratives explore the historical and cultural contexts we immerse ourselves in, the research we engage with, the people we collaborate with and how we relate these stories to the wider world.

We have a diversity of interests and expertise across the practice that feeds into these narratives: From research into how best to create workplaces and education buildings for today’s evolving situation to sharing our best practice on low energy design, BIM and creative reuse. From working with artists on site-specific installations to campaigning for greater access to the arts for everyone. From the role of modelmaking in design to bringing people together through cycling.

Our latest pop-up installation in our 20 Tottenham Street gallery window is one of a series of window installations at the London Studio, designed to activate the street front, bringing a sense of activity and normality to the Fitzrovia streetscape. While many of us are working from home, we stand alongside our wider London community of neighbouring businesses, passers-by and occasional visitors to our Studio and our commitment to the character and vibrancy of the area.
