We produced this small book in May 2009 for a limited circulation. We have been working with and for artists - creating places for them to work and exhibit, and involving them in our projects and processes. The book recorded some of that work, and those partnerships.
Creating place and space for art through our own medium of architecture allows us to explore our fascination with material, light, colour and texture which is complemented by the work of the artists who inhabit those spaces.
Places for Art, with its series of short essays, is largely about shared interests and collaborations - a celebration of a series of projects that have allowed us to indulge in our own art form to enable others to develop theirs.
