The range of our architectural work is extremely broad and includes housing, universities, creative reuse, schools and swimming pools. So when you join Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios you should be prepared to develop new skills and to challenge your existing knowledge.

When not designing award-winning buildings we organise regular social, sporting and design events. We have an annual Awayday and Summer Party, we have an unbeaten Softball team playing against other design practices as well as 5-a -side football events.

We do life drawing, sketching weekends, architectural and cultural visits and frequently create events and exhibitions such as the Bath Forum and the London Festival of Architecture. In addition to the usual benefits we also offer a free daily lunch, annual profit share and a comprehensive professional development programme.

**Applications now closed** Work Experience Placements - Summer 2020

Are you thinking about a career in Architecture, and keen to explore what it might be like working in an Architectural Practice? At Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, we are committed to building an inclusive culture which encourages development and the sharing of ideas. We are proud to fully support those at the beginning of their architectural journey.

We are committed to our partnerships with local schools & colleges and regularly contribute with attendance at careers events, workshops and local events.

Our work experience programme has been designed for students studying towards their GCSE’s or A-levels (or equivalent). Each student is supported by a dedicated mentor who provides guidance through a structured programme of meaningful activities.

To ensure we offer the best experience to our students we have limited the number of work experience placement available to 12 cross-practice per year, ensuring each student is given a truly immersive experience.

What to expect:

On your first day, you will be greeted with a warm FCBStudios welcome and introduced to your mentor and group.

The aim of the placement is to gain an insight into what the role of an architect involves. You will see the exciting variety of projects we work on; the environment we work in and some of the training involved in becoming a qualified Architect.

Over the course of the week-long placement you will complete a series of briefs; attend a presentation of a live FCBStudios Project and conduct a short presentation of your completed work to your group. At the end of the week, you will be given a USB stick containing all the work you have produced whilst on your placement.

You will have plenty of opportunities to meet other FCBStudios employees chatting over morning coffee, afternoon tea or lunch (cooked by our on-site chef!)
