Architect/Architectural Technician, Belfast

We are currently seeking a qualified architect or architectural technician to join our Belfast Office to support the delivery of a major university project at site stage. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a set of core skills including:

- strong technical capacity in building materials and assembly
- analysis of technical drawings
- organisational skills and command of extensive information sets
- site inspection experience, keen eye for quality and technical compliance
- working in conjunction with large, diverse design teams
- an understanding of Design Management and associated reporting.

Experience with large, complex and multi-phased schemes across laboratory, healthcare and academic building sectors would be beneficial.

Revit Users (Architectural), London

We are looking for a number of Revit users with pre and post planning experience stages 0-3 and 4-5

Candidates should have exceptional skills - either in generalist or specialised skill sets including:
- good communication skills,
- strong early stage design skills
- strong technical design skills
- site experience benefiting from Revit

Revit Skills Requirements:
- You should have exceptional Revit skills with a minimum of 3 years' experience of using Revit as part of a larger team of at least three people or more.
- You should have experience in the use of BIM Execution Plans on complex projects involving multiple organisations and federated models
- You should have experience of using other related software including: Navisworks, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite desirable, but not essential.
- You should have excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate BIM models
- A strong working knowledge of using Revit to deliver Architectural drawing packages is desirable.
- You should have excellent 3D modelling skills

Design Manager, Belfast

We currently have an opportunity for a Design Manager to work with our Belfast team.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team producing information in response to tight deadlines. Outstanding organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail is imperative. Advanced MS Excel skills and a knowledge of MS Project or Asta Powerproject is desirable; training can be given.

You will preferably have a construction or architectural related background, however, other qualifications which demonstrate an aptitude for report preparation and presentation will be considered.

This role will be based on site, in Belfast working under the umbrella of our Belfast office.

Architectural Technician/ Technologist, Edinburgh

We currently have an opportunity for a qualified Architectural Technician/Technologist to work with our Edinburgh team.

The ideal candidate will be able to support the project architect in the delivery and development of technical packages for construction, collect and analyse technical information to assist the development of project design, produce detailed drawings, plans, documents and specifications for use in projects and tenders as appropriate.

Skill and Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience of supporting delivery of large project on site (D&B contract experience desirable)
Excellent Revit skills (preferable experience of BIM projects)
Strong technical design skills, construction knowledge and construction detailing
Thorough knowledge building regulations, and ability to work within planning legislation and design guidelines e.g. British Standards.
Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure and meet deadline effectively.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team, assisting and supporting team members
Ability to translate and achieve design intent of high architectural quality
Relevant HNC / HND / BSc level in an Architectural based study

Software:
Essential: Revit, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred: Photoshop, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microstation.
