BA(Hons)  DipArch  RIBA

Richard joined FCBStudios in 2005 and was made an associate in 2015. Over this time he was instrumental in two RIBA award-winning buildings: St Mary Magdalene Academy and Drapers’ Academy and followed these up with six years working on Southbank Centre's brutalist venues: the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery.

He is currently working on the refurbishment of Arup Associates’ award-winning 1977 Basingstoke office building Mountbatten House, aka the Hanging Gardens of Basingstoke. An accomplished photographer, Richard's photographs of Southbank Centre document the project in the FCBStudios publication Respecting Brutalism and can also be seen in Explore articles 26 and 47.
