Mike became a Partner in 1999, two years after joining the practice. 

After working on the exhibition and entrance buildings at the Earth Centre in Doncaster, Mike designed various residential and higher education projects. In 2008, he led the team that won the Stirling Prize for Accordia, a residential scheme in Cambridge that was pivotal in influencing the next decade of British housing. He has subsequently worked on large, complex mixed-use, higher education and residential masterplan schemes including the current University of Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus. Mike has taught at Portsmouth University and Bath University Schools of Architecture.
